Connect to Zoom
meldungen.app shows on a second screen who has raised a hand in your Zoom meeting, in type large enough to read from across the room. For that it needs permission from the Zoom account that owns the meeting. You give it here.
What happens next
- Zoom asks you to sign in and shows what the app is allowed to do. Use the account that starts the meeting. The display joins on its behalf.
- Zoom sends you back here and the display is ready. From then on the meeting ID alone is enough.
- Open the display on the device that will show it, enter the meeting ID, and it joins.
Before you start
There is no account and no sign-in here. meldungen.app has no user accounts, passwords or roles, and every visitor sees this same page. The only sign-in is the one at Zoom, in the next step.
Two permissions are requested, and no others: one to obtain the token that lets the display join and read the raised-hand state, and one to recognise which account granted it. The display reads the participant list and nothing else from the meeting. It sends no audio or video and records nothing. The guide explains the whole setup, and how to disconnect.
